Langley & herschel Exam dates

Langley & herschel Exam dates
Does anyone know what dates are set for these schools 11+ exams.
Herschel have just put up the dates on their website.... so.....
11+ Exam Dates - Consortium (Langley, Herschel and St Bernards)
Pupils attending Slough Primary schools - Thursday 6th November 2008
Pupils not attending Slough Primary - Saturday 8th November 2008
If they follow last year then Slough grammar will have the following dates..
attending Slough Primary - Sat 8th Nov 2008
Not attending Slough Primary - Sat 15th Nov 2008
but these have not been confirmed.
Herschel's open evening is Tues 9th September 2008 5.45pm - 9pm

He will only have to write 1 exam.....held at the first choice school you put on your Consortium application form.

From posts we had last year please be aware that Langley has historically had a cut off score of around 117 and Herschel 112 (even though 111 is a pass) through oversubscription.
It appears that if you put Langley first and Herschel second and achieve a score of 113 then there may be a chance of not getting an offer from either. This is because in the first round of allocations they send out to all 'first choice' applicants and you would remain on the waiting list for Langley without really any hope of getting in.
