Question on appeal process and outcome
DD offered a place in school B (outside Berkshire) but our 1st preference was in school A (inside Berkshire) where she is currently in waiting list.
If I appeal in school A and appeal is successful and she is offered a place, will her place in school B automatically cancel or we shall be given few days to confirm whether we want place in school A or B?
I asked the school and they said they are not involved in appeal process so don't know/can't answer this.

Re: Question on appeal process and outcome
You need to check with your local authority, and probably Slough admissions. Certainly in Bucks if you are offered a place on the waiting list (not sure about appeals, but someone else will know) the original place is withdrawn at the same time & offered to someone else. This is not the case in all authorities though, so I suggest you get the information from the horses mouth.
