Slough Consortium Schools - Fees?

Post by JaysDarlin »

Hello all, just wishing to clarify something.

Tiffin School asks for voluntary contributions - do the Slough Schools ask aswell? If so how much? Any information would be appreciated,

Not sure about the consortium schools.

Slough Grammar ask for a donation for the school fund - suggested amount £35.00
Trips are always extra.
I would have thought (as Slough Grammar was in the consortium until last year) that it would not be dissimilar for the consortium schools.....but haven't got any info.

I believe this is quite common practise. I know that Reading Grammar ask for approx ninety pounds for their school fund donation.

But there are no "fees" as such, right? I heard of someone today who claims her son goes to Langley and it costs her £10k pa.

:P

Technically, no fees. Just school fund; A donation towards all good things that the school provides.

For info Kendrick school fund is £200. This is only suggested and not compulsary and I dont know if all parents pay the full amount but I expect they would.
