BV Waiting List News 2019

As of yesterday my son is 53rd on the waiting list with a score of 225. We are in Moseley, so about 9 miles (?) from BV. We are not hopeful.

My DS is on the waiting list for BV with a score of 226 and 3.5 miles. I called B'ham LEA on 27 March and he was 32nd on the waiting list. I just called them now and he's moved to 18th so I'm still hopeful. If we're successful I would be giving up a place at Aston.

Just as a matter of interest, do you/DS prefer BV over Aston, or any other reasons (logistics)?

Although we liked Aston, BV is in our locality and we know the area and the school well and it was also DS first choice.
