Hello There

I'm just considering entrance tests for my daughter with Wolverhampton Girls and Newport being the two grammar schools we are looking at. We've already looked around each of these and really liked them both - we need to decide on first and second choices for our CAF - and one major consideration will be the logistics of getting her to NGS if she were offered a place... we are out of catchment here.... someone has suggested that the local bus service which serves Adam Grammar (the boys grammar in the same town) allows girls for Newport to share... does anyone have any experience of this?

We received an email this week asking us (AGS parents) to confirm applications for bus routes as there was a waiting list of girls from NGHS.

So sounds like NGHS only gets whats left over after the boys have reserved their space on the bus.

Suggest you all NGHS and ask them what has happened in previous years if there aren't enough spare places on the coach (its a long way to drive every day!)
