Can't help with the tutor, but this years 11+ for children currently in year 6 for King Edwards is at the start of November. To apply it is a simple on line form that needs to be filled out some time during during the summer term, I think. Do consider transport though, if there is a bus atall from Redditch it may be very early. Have a look on the green bus company website for more details of school buses.

If you look down the threads you will see some which tell you about the format of the exams. For example, have a look at this earlier thread re the 2008 exam.

As you are in Redditch are you also thinking about the Warwickshire Grammar Schools?

Hi

The best thing that you can do is call the King Edwards Foundation - they are in charge of organising the exams and they are VERY helpful. It is their job to take calls from parents making initial inquireys so please dont worry about calling them - with all the questions that you have asked (even the smallest ones, that you think you should know).

If you are looking for a good tutor, if I was you i'd travel to Birmingham. Speak to FM as she knows alot more. Hopefully she spots this thread and replies anyway.

Best of luck
