KE Comprehension

Just wanted to clarify that the comprehensions for KE Exams - that there are usually two, one fiction and the other non-fiction, consist of about 10-12 multiple choice questions each, and you have about 15 minutes to answer the questions on both - now would that include reading time too ? Or are you given an extra 10 minutes or so to read the passage first ?

Thanks Elbart

ps. does anyone have any useful links for downloading appropriate type KE comprehensions. Cheers.

I am fairly sure that includes reading time. It is time pressured but I think that is the point--selecting children who can assimilate information at speed. If a child doesn't function well at speed, then it may be wiser for them to accept they won't answer all the questions and concentrate on getting the ones they answer correct.
