Tutor enquiry from a new member

Hi all, please be gentle, it's my first post!
DS due to take test for grammars KE,BV,QM in 2011.
Have been DIY'ing with Bond papers (v, nv, maths, eng), Secondary selection, plus trying to increase vocab generally and widen range of reading/comprehension. DS well motivated (at the moment), and although had tutor lined up, not sure if this will happen, due to illness.
Wondered if anyone could recommend reputable tutor north Birmingham area? Or if not any tips for concentrating efforts in other areas/style of papers?
