Bus Route to QM Boys

Thought you may get a response from more people if I started a new thread.

The 451 bus goes from Sutton to West Bromwich, and getting off at the Scott Arms to change to the 51 is straightforward. Lots of QM boys and girls get the 51 and it stops close to both the boys and girls school. 451 and 51 are frequent services - but if you can give an idea of which part of Sutton you are in there may be a more suitable route.

Thanks fingerscrossed :)

Found a direct service on the 77 from JockeyRd/B'ham Road junction that leaves/returns at a good time (7.52am & 4.04pm) to/from QM. That's now and assuming timetables don't change by September. Used the website below to plan journey and it gives options around the school run.

http://www.transportdirect.info/Web2/Jo ... heparam=10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.schooltravelwise.org.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - is also good with links and useful information

The 451 & 51 will also be handy especially for DS in first year as other QM students use it.

Received letter from the QM head to day and it stated that the Green Bus operate 2 services to the school so it may be another will be added because when I spoke to the Green Bus Co yesterday they said they currently only operate one service and none from Sutton to QM. Will wait to receive information from them as QM head's letter indicated Green Bus Co will be writing to parents.

Thanks again :D
