Sorry Guest but that's not correct - the number of places for Boys (and Girls) KEFW are not pre-assigned. It's completely open as regards allocation of places purely on the basis of the exam results. It just so happens that more boys put KEFW down at a higher priority on the LEA lit.
The KEFW Head confirmed this at last years inducton day. He was actually quite pleased that the number of Girls applying to KEFW and getting in has been inclreasing over the last few years. It's no longer 60:40 as before.
