Re: 11+ preparation
Mock exams do not always mean waste of money. When a child is nervous of exams this is one way to ease him out and say look this is how the exam environment will be. We also DIYed our child and he also got into CHB but that does not make him any less bcoz he took a mock test. Some kids require a tutor and some don't.It is up to the parent to decide which is best. Not all DIYed get in nor do all who go to the tutor

It was good up until now, when us lot from Brum could use the Warwickshire exam
to scare our DC before the 'real thing'!
I'd say one mock is ok if you have £50 spare. It does give you an indication as to where the weaknesses are .

Hi, which CDs and software to buy for Bham grammer schools? Is it worth it to buy and do some practice online? Thanks.

Re: 11+ preparation
Thanks for that but there are so many resources out there don't know what to get in the software and CDs. If anybody got any experience with good software for maths and then let me know please.
