I would like say that I am super cool and I'll go to bed as normal and then in the morning I would just 'casually' pause when sauntering past the PC and decide on a whim to check the website.

But who am I kidding, the build up to this has been long and this is it and I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER! A bit like Donkey in Shrek who sits in the back of the car asking "are we there yet?" again and again and again, I will be hitting that button until it reveals the result.

Does anyone know the situation with a grammar school waiting list??
I got to thinking about the possibility that you will get the email, and it has the offer of the local comp. However, how do you know that you are not 5th on the waiting list (or similar). Considering the amount of people who just got into KES on full scholorship/Ap places, it is highly likely that there are quite a few kids who will get a grammar school place, but will not want it. Does anyone have experience of being on a waiting list for Grammar, and how many kids get places who were on the waiting list??

Ok, back in MY days .. My primary school head found out one day before we got the letter as I saw her come in excitedly to tell my form tutor and then they both STARED at me for a very long minute which gave it away .. The head at my DC indie school made it out that she also hears BY POST on march 1st!!!

So what do we believe ??
