Since no one actually knows what comes up in the CEM set exams my advice of practising the 21 type still stands. Of course DIY tutors have the final say in the matter. Follow the advice on offer versus ability and time left naturally. Since there are only 6 months left for next KE exams, time is pressing in how much can and should be done.

I disagree. If you look at CEM's published papers on their research and on their product range you'll see that it's reasonably clear what they're looking for and the types of test they're likely to set. In English/VR terms, anything they set will be vocabulary or grammar based.
