Hi all

I know this is somewhat off-topic for this forum ....

Has anybody more in the know than me got any comments (about likely impact to the school) on the recent news that the head of BV (David Iddon) will retire in Aug/13?

My son is in year 8 and loves the school. I shall be sorry to see Mr Iddon go but think the appointment of his deputy Mr Robson is brilliant news. His enthusiasm for the school and the boys is marvellous and such a good school needs continuity more than it needs new blood, in my opinion.

I was surprised at the news too. Mr Iddon is extremely charming! I'm assuming Mr Robson was the one who made the boys stack the chairs at the Induction Eve?! Yes he was certainly enthusiastic!!

Oh well stillhopeful, our DS's will have a year with Mr Iddon as head.
