The results came this morning. Our scores not high enough I think. Good luck for those waiting. Off out now!

Really surprised with all the letters this morning...didn't expect anything until Tuesday morning 
Wanting4, remember some schools have increased the number of places. Just bear this in mind when looking at last year's final allocated position / rank.

Hi
Results just arrived.QM said that ds secured a place whereas hands worth mentioned rank along with acceptance.feeling relieved now.all the best for next week results .

Good luck to everyone waiting for a letter today
Out of curiosity, would anyone who has received their letter mind indicating what information it contains? (I'm not asking you to reveal any personal information) Also are the letters the same from each consortium school? My DD will be taking the exam next year so just interested in how things work now results are issued before CAF are completed. Thanks

The most comprehensive letter by far was QM.
WGHS: last year's final allocation position was 146.
Newport: 84 places are available in 2013. Last year's final allocation position for 56 places was rank 76.
QMH: 112 places are available. Over the last 3 years where 96 places were available:
2010: final allocated position 253
2011: final allocated position 241
2012: final allocated position 268
My dd2 has secured a place but we are more interested in KEG's due to the distance.

In addition to the information you have provided did they give the standardised score and the ranking. Or did they just say the child secured a place.

Thank-you. 
Interestingly, only ranks (dc and last year's final allocated rank) are provided. No information about standardisation or dc's score are given.
The letters aren't really that helpful in that way, tbh.
