FW or QM .help!!

Post by Priya01 »

Hi all
Ds secured sure place in QM ,however scored 235 in KE.now that CHB is a wait and watch ,what do you think my second option should be on the LA form. The first would be CHB :? ...I am not worried about distance because we have to relocate anyway. Thanks in advance for your replies but I need one for peace of mind.
Is FW better than QM or vice versa.

Priya, I could have written exactly that. Ditto same situation: same mark, same preference dilemma and the same relocation issue :)

As far as CHB is concerned your guess is as good as mine. But either way it has to go on the form as first preference; nothing to lose. In fact the cut-off has never exceeded 235 for CHB.

May be some of our fellow posters can provide guidance.

Can't comment about QM - but DS is now in the U6 at KEFW

We originaly wanted KECHB but just missed out all those years ago but it's worked out very well indeed

KEFW is a really excellent school, we have been very pleased.

Large school but this has some advantages, choice of A Levels or IB in the 6th form

Travel isn't really a problem anyway - Green buses go there from all over the West Midlands

KECHB is popular for a very good reason, if this is the school you want then put it down as first. We also sat and got a very good place at KES but declined once KECHB came through for us. It really is a very good school.

Thanks KenR and Paramjeet Phaji!! Much appreciated.

We really need to sit down and decide over the next few days.
