I just spoke to a mum who says that the new head at Stratford is really turning the school around.

Personally I think you should think ahead to other children. Our DS will hopefully get his FW place, so that now is where will will try and get our DD. it makes sense to me to have them both at the same place. At the time we will get her to sit both bham and warks and see how she gets on, but she is a bright girl.
If for some reason he goes to KES, first choice for DD will be shottery, as we want to keep them as close to each other as possible.
If the child is bright, they will do where ever they go.
Someone i know has a DS at FW but says it might not suit their other DS so are looking at CHB for the other. Children adapt and where ever they go they will settle, why split family up if you don't have to.
Sounds to me like you are leaning towards KES!
