DS struggling a little with science most likely as a result of primary school not doing too much. Anybody could offer advice or had similar problem. He is yr7 at Five ways. Any help appreciated

Hi there
Could you help one other please as ds in a very similar boat and school has basically said its not our job to teach science, an attitude I find baffling to say the least.

What? It's not your job either! If there are several of you in the same boat, can you approach the school together? Alternatively is there a mentoring/support class there? I have heard there are in other Grammars.
