Getting angry!

I found out last night that a website published details of the Walsall, Birmingham and warwickshire consortium tests on the the same day as the test (basically topics). Now it has been removed due to legal action but I'm still really annoyed that those who did not take it on the official day will be at an advantage. Any ideas how many sit the later test? Has it already happened?

I thought that the tests were different in each area, otherwise those taking the Warwickshire test after taking Birmingham would know what was in it?

Apologies if I misunderstand.

No not the same test! The website published details of all three tests.

Do you think anyone saw it - I mean, I wouldn't think of looking for eleven plus questions - only advice and support on here. When was it legally removed? In the last few days or as soon as it was posted?

I doubt there are many late sitters and I doubt many of those late sitters would have seen it ... unless it was in a very obvious place. I hope nobody's benefitted from it, it's certainly not fair, but I don't see what can be done about it.

Confused.

If there was sufficient evidence that it was publicly available from the date of the first test, then anyone taking a test post 7 September would be advantaged...if this is the case, surely then they would have to get the second sitters to take a new test?

Some info was up for two days. I don't want to say the website because there is still information available that may aid others on this site/late sitters. When someone can tell me that the sick tests have happened I will name and shame!

Thinking it through some more. I'm sure this happens more than we would like! Tutors ask for feedback from their tutees and maybe if someone they teach is a late sitter then they would get more specific tution.

DS was asked to attend a feedback session with this tutors, but I said that we would be unwilling to attend until after the exams were completed. I'm sure that other people would have attended / provided feedback although the tutor said that they would only be using this information for next year's DC's.

Presumably the late sitters sit a different test to the main test in any event so does it really help?
It may have an adverse effect on us personally if it does as we are close to last years cut off so I am hoping late sitters don't come in with an advantage and pip us to the post.
