The Warwickshire Admissions arrangements 2015/16 are due to be approved for consultation at a Council committee meeting on 22nd November. So there won't be anything official from Warwickshire before then. For those of you in Warwickshire with younger children still to start school there is a proposal that for primary admissions they are looking to create ‘Super Priority Areas’ for each of Bedworth, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Rugby, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick which will mean that anyone in any of those areas can apply to any of the schools within them, with siblings then distance the deciding criteria. This is a change from the set priority areas that exist at the moment. Rural schools would not be affected.

If it happens I can't really see it being part of Warwickshire, but not all. Take out South Warwickshire (Stratford and Alcester) and that leaves less than 800 candidates for East Warwickshire - which isn't really enough to justify a bespoke paper, and starts to limit the accuracy of the standardisation. If there's going to be any change I could see a Midlands super-consortium bringing Birmingham, all of Warwickshire and the existing Wolverhampton/Walsall/Wrekin consortium all into the same group for testing purposes.
