Also from other thread
Scooby73 wrote:Since we fall under Solihull, I thought this might help those of you who are waiting to hear about KECH or KEFW. My DS scored 234 and he didn't make our first choice of CH but I'm pleased to say we've been offered our second preference of FW. Not logistically ideal for us but I know its a great school. Obviously, I don't know the cut off scores but this should give you an idea if your DS scored less than 234. Good luck.

Apparantley 1100 no offers

182 offers

good luck all

I am really, really hoping the "no application" on the Wolves website is a technical glitch or we are up the creek with no paddle :?

Oh gosh, what a night you have all had!

So to summarise events so far: we can be be sure that CHB pass mark hasn't gone above 242 (unsurprisingly) but is higher than 234. CHG has dropped at least 2 points as someone on 227 has been offered a place.

ETA: according to Scooby , 235 has scored a place at CHB- so we know the cut-off for CHB this year is 235

That's great summarisation UmSusu. I am sure Um may have some relief but won't be 100% until she has the paper in her hand. :)

Thanks

We know that a score of 235 has made KECH boys.

CHB 235! Slightly bigger drop than anticipated. Personally expected cut off to be 237. I think CHG cut off will be 226.
If Solihull and Warks have given allocations can't see why Birmingham haven't put up cut off scores yet?

Do you mean 226 for CHG? It can't be 236 as a 227 and 229 have a place.

As for the last comment, if Solihull and Warks can have wheelie bins.....
