My DS is due to start in Year 7 at KEFW in September 2014

Are there any DPs out there who are affected by the withdrawal of the Green Bus Service from Kidderminster to KEFW (FW6) next academic year? If so, do you have any alternative plans in place?

I emailed Green Bus and they say they have written to all affected DPs canvassing opinion on alternative arrangements, including connections via West Hagley, car-sharing and a bespoke minibus direct from Kiddy to KEFW, via Hagley, which would be my preference, cost permitting.

Our DS now uses the FW7 having used the FW8 for half a term before they withdrew it, adding an hour per day to his journey. I am beginning to think that the Green Bus wont be around for too much longer as services are being constantly withdrawn, routes changed which add significantly to journey times.
