Regarding friendship issues, I find that often we, as parents take it more to heart than our children, they are usually over it the next day but we keep thinking about it and worrying about long after the kids have sorted it out.

Agree with guest201
The hard bit is being Mum or Dad during all of this.
Are you pushing them too hard? or Have you been too soft?
Are you a pushy middle class so and so? or Are you supporting a bright child?
Are you a tiger Mum/ Dad? or Are you too laid back?
My advice is stick to doing the best you can and encouraging your DC to do the best they can.
It's really all you can ask of yourself or your DC.

Do lots of reading and anagrams and word puzzles and work with numbers - it's more about mental agility than about ploughing through papers and risking "burn out" - Good Luck

Probably the weather. It's been very 'close'
I could have flopped down and slept on the pavement this afternoon. But now the rain has freshened things up.
Goodness knows what I'd have done if I had to complete some maths
