From memory, KEHS and EHS have cut off dates for acceptance so if you haven't replied then the place is lost.

You can't hold three grammar places.

Wind up merchant maybe?

Suspect it is a WUM - maybe she has passed EHS and KEHS and been offered places. Then maybe she got CHG and parents are telling her that she would have got into kefw and handsworth too

Sometimes this is the time the nasties crawl out of the woodwork so I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. :)

Glad to hear that it's not possible to hold 3 grammar places! I do wonder why not decided yet tbh :/

I suspect the girl in question has decided, just doesn't want to state her choice openly.

Such posts should be, and mostly are, ignored. The fact she has stated she has three Grammar places indicates she is a liar trying to cause anxiety in those unfamiliar with the process of secondary school application.

Forget about it 8) .

Been there, for reasons beyond our control.

Assuming that the post bears any resemblance to the truth, they already turned down one or both indie places before Easter because they became liable for the first term's fees at that point. And for the same reason, if they accepted either then that's where she's undoubtedly going at this stage (although they might not have got round to telling the GS yet).

The GS know if she's accepted a place at KEHS and will already have been on the phone to her parents, more than once by this stage, asking them to release one or other place (they know it's going to be the GS place but there's nothing they can do about it beyond trying to persuade the parents act responsibly) before appeals start.

Successful appeals for KE are very rare, so the place will become available eventually.
