What are the thoughts on when the letters will actually arrive? They infer that we will receive them as soon as possible after the 17th.......... (please, please, please let them arrive on Friday!).

The Birmingham Consortium Website shows "You will receive your child's test score by Friday 17th October 2014 by post"
I assume when they say "by Friday" they mean they will either post Wednesday by 2nd class (and possibly receive Thursday?) or post Thursday using 1st class
Does anyone know any more please?

I just called the office and they have said they will be a delay and should expect them the following week Wednesday.

If they say Friday, then it is usually there by Friday. Iirc, a lot of people got them by Thursday in the last two years.
Sorry, if that makes you even more anxious!!
ETA: mimosaa - just saw your post. so it could be anywhere from Thursday to next Wednesday!

I'm sure that 2 years ago when we were waiting for DS results exactly the same thing was said by the consortium but they arrived on the date they said anyway..... or is that just wishful thinking?!
