Consortium Grammar Schools Results Thread
It is a possibility that parents will start receiving their children's results by post tomorrow.
You're welcome to use this forum to ask questions and discuss the results.
Please be sensitive as undoubtedly there will be parents contributing to, and reading, this forum, who have not received the results they hoped for. I know myself that this can be a very emotional time for parents and children.
Nobody on this forum, or even at the foundation office, can say exactly what the 'last-scores in' will be for this cohort.
All we can do is guestimate a 'safe score' based on previous data.
The additional applicants and portion of places prioritised for children eligible for Pupil Premium make it a little harder to guess what will happen.
The last scores in, for the last few years, were as follows (compiled by KenR):
2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011,2012, 2013
KE CAMP HILL BOYS
347, 341, 343, 346, 351, 353, 232, 234, 240
(116)(114)(115)(116)(117)(118)(116)(117)(120)
KE FIVE WAYS
330, 329, 328, 330, 333, 336, 223, 225, 227
(110)(110)(110)(110)(111)(112)(112)(113)(114)
KE CAMP HILL GIRLS
323, 329, 321, 325, 330, 328, 222, 225, 229
(108)(110)(107)(109)(110)(110)(111)(113)(115)
KE ASTON
324, 327, 324, 328, 328, 331, 217, 216, 220
(108)(109)(108)(110)(110)(111)(109)(108)(110)
KE HANDSWORTH GIRLS
317, 319, 318, 317, 319, 321, 211, 215, 216
(106)(107)(106)(106)(107)(107)(106)(108)(108)
BISHOP VESEY (from 2011 entry)
215, 212, 217
(108)(106)(109)
SUTTON GIRLS GRAMMAR (from 2011 entry)
207, 210, 215
(104)(105)(108)
2014 scores-in dropped across the schools due to additional places being made available:
Official cut-offs (not everyone on these scores may have been offered places):
KECHB 235 (down 5)
KECHG 226 (down 3)
KEFW 224 (down 3)
KEA 214 (down 6)
KEHG 215 (down 1)
SCGSG 211 (down 4)
BV 217 (no change)
HGB 203
The scores above are the pass marks for the last successful candidate gaining entry, not all candidates achieving that score would be offered a place due to distance factors. So 1 further mark would be required for guaranteed entry in that year.
Best wishes and love to all,
Um

Re: Consortium Grammar Schools Results Thread
Anyone had the postman deliver any results or will they arrive tomorrow the official day of receipt?

Still waiting
Re: Consortium Grammar Schools Results Thread
I'm still waiting too - our postman doesn't come until about 11.30. I would have thought someone would have had something by now?
I don't really want to have to go through all this again tomorrow!!
