Don't lose hope there has been an acceptance on the forum to KE Handsworth at 226 so it may go much lower nearer to the 219 and you should have good prospects off the waiting list.

just for info - this was the state of play from early March last year:

KECHB 235 (down 5) - 234 is 5th, 232 is 17th on waiting list as at 3/3/2014
KECHG 226 (down 3) - 209 is 97th on waiting list as at 3/3/2014
KEFW 224 (down 3) - 209 is 170th on waiting list as at 3/3/2014. 221 reported as offered on 11/4/2014
KEA 214 (down 6) - 213 was 7th on waiting list as at 3/3/2014, 12th as at 17/3/2014, 3rd as at 28/3/2014, 1st as at 2/4/2014, offered 10/4/2014. Offers over PAN by 10.
KEHG 215 (down 1)
SCGSG 211 (down 4) - 209 is 34th on waiting list as at 3/3/2014
BV 217 (no change) - 216 reported offered 12/4/2014
HGB 203 - 202 is 18th on waiting list as at 4/3/2014

Spotted some Solihull parents had received emails. I've still had no email BUT if I log on to the Solihull admissions website, I can see the status has change to 'Place Offered' for first choice and all others are now 'Not Needed'.

DS2 had CHB.

Just to assist the early offer marks suggest the cut offs will be higher than 2013.These were figures I collated from marks on offer day not the final marks off the waiting lists.

Some really great news on this thread. Having remained a 'silent witness' on this forum I couldn't contain myself any longer. I feel my DS score non pp score of 217 will not gain him a place at KEA this year. Will await results from Brum LEA and just console myself now...so I can stay positive and enthusiastic for him.

My neighbour's ds (in Solihull) has an offer for chb on 248 - a non-PP score, but just saw the offer of 244 post.

Wow re CHG no offer on 228, but that's what waiting lists are for.
