@astro, i think it is still worth opening an envelope :-D

The guide told us the letter itself (not the envelope) had balloons printed on the background, so look for Balloons and a smiling face face from DD as she reads her offer letter.

Back plan is cup cakes, which work every time.

Though the thought strikes me that Its like a search for one of those golden chocolate bars in willy wonka

There is a tear off slip with the acceptance. You have to tick a box...I think the options are like

Head of home civil service
Barrister
Ambassador to France
Chief Executive of the forestry commission
Surgeon General
Chief Government scientist
Archbishop of York

there are loads more to choose from. As they are so young, I think your allowed to express an interest in at least a dozen of the options if not more :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi everyone, hope I can be of help. Firstly the balloon letter is inside the envelope so pls no tears if you do not see balloons outside...
My daughter ( thirds/current yr7) was offered AP and we had no interview. I know if another who was interviewed and not offered at first but she was offered later about April so again pls don't lose hope. Good luck to you all ....
