Congratulations from (almost) the furthest corner of Essex to all those getting offers now that the schools are finding out who isn't actually going to turn up this week .
I can't help thinking that school uniform shops must really love this time of year. Sort of keeping the post national allocation day 'Christmas' going .

Hello!
HGS offered on 201 (wondering if that is a record in recent years?) so hopefully you can add this to the front page. Last year I scoured the site for old posts to see what scores dropped to so I hope any information I can give will help others. Also, just to show that even now places are offered. We have, sadly, declined the place after all that, but that's another story on another thread
I also have another snippet from our appeal that last year the Walsall test had around 1350 sitters. I hope this helps in some way.
PS OT - I was very much a female the last time I checked

Re: Allocations and waiting list movement 2017 - scores only
Hi Ricky - I have edited the first post, can I add the original waiting list position as well - this can help people when they are trying to guess how far they go down
Re: Allocations and waiting list movement 2017 - scores only
Thanks
It's a bit of an odd one really as we joined the w/list after March 1 as we assumed 201 too low in October.
At first we were told he was 20th around April. We called back a few weeks later (maybe May?) to be told 70 something! - I think! My memory is hazy sorry as we had lots going on at the time. We forgot about it after that as we thought it would never come down.
We suspect the first position was way too low and possibly wrong.
I can however tell you that 313 was 101 on thewaiting list for QMGS mid May if this helps?

Hi Ricky - thanks for the info, I'll update the front page
Re: Allocations and waiting list movement 2017 - scores only
Thanks for updating and for keeping track - looking through previous years' cut offs were invaluable when we were close to the bone.
Re: Allocations and waiting list movement 2017 - scores only
Another snippet - if this helps - in tge QMGS letter reminding us of the 11.30 close, it said more than 1200 were sitting the test (at the school?)
Re: Allocations and waiting list movement 2017 - scores only
We have just attended an Open Morning at KEA, and they confirmed that the lowest score for entry in 2017 was 217, so a drop of 5 from the cut-off on 1st March.
