Hi. New to the forum so apologies for any errors! Any suggestions on how much impact the increased pupil intake at SCG will have this year on minimum scores? Hopefully it may reduce as more places available??? :D

Scgsg increased their intake from 150 to 180 3 years ago. It didn't seem to have an impact on the lowest intake score. They don't have a pupil premium score as already take a significant number of pupil premium students.

Thanks very much. I was told it was increasing this year with the extension - obviously mid-informed! Thx for your help. :D

I went to the open evening where we were told that there are 160 places in the principals speech -- I am pretty confident that's what was told

It's 180 for 2017 and 180 for 2018 according to the city council website

Yep, there are now 5 classes of 30 in each year.
The extension was needed as the extra 30 each year was going to start causing space issues. 30 extra the first year was ok but by the time they reach year 11 there will be an extra 150 students in the school.

Thanks everyone. Was hoping there would be an increase in numbers/therefore drop in lowest score as my daughters score is not quite there!! Wishful thinking! :D

Good evening all,

It seems from the 2017 intake results the waiting list for Sutton Girls Grammar does not move much. The cut off on 1st March was 217 and the lowest score from the waiting list was only 216. Can someone let us know if there was a lower score.
