I was wondering if any Bham LA parents had received postal correspondence from Bham council regarding admissions?

I do not know anyone who has.

I'd logged in online and the form is working (and even has the applications for my older children still on there to view) but says:

* If the home address given is different from that printed on the letter you received inviting you to apply, or if you failed to receive a pre-printed letter, you will need to provide proof of address by sending a copy of your most recent Council Tax Bill to School Admissions, PO Box 16513, Birmingham, B2 2FF or email admissions@birmingham.gov.uk

I have not received anything from Birmingham LA, and had no idea that they would be asking for proof of address?

Sorry, edited to say I remember we had something from the school at the end of Year 5, but just filed it on the pin board until we had the 11+ results. Just checked, and it is from Birmingham LA, and is addressed to Parents / Guardian of (child’s name) c/o (school). Guess that is to save on postage costs!!

I don’t recall receiving anything, but I am a real slack Alice so if it was a while ago there’s every chance we’ve just lost it.

Yes the same here as Helen. DS was given a letter about admissions from school at the end of year 5.
The letter was dated July 2017 and it did have our address on there.

Yes, I believe letters were sent via school in July. Anyone who has moved house since then or has the wrong address on the letter needs to provide a recent proof of address. I know of a parent who has moved house to be near their preferred choice of school.
