Hi I was filling in the CAF form and had a query .
We have moved to Derby and SCG is our first choice followed by local comprehensives. Do o have to fill in the BHAM council form or derby council form for a place atSCG?
Also the form only asks for DOB, address and preferences, there is no column for grammar school marks or candidate no.
How do they get that ie verify that?
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

Hi Moonsun
You fill in the form for your local authority where you live.
Somehow, by the magic of computers (and the space of five months!), the councils exchange information and the grammar schools check your details and you don't need to put your results or candidate number on the form. A friend asked me this exact question yesterday. It's very impressive, when you think about it.
