Contact the Admission department at your LA to check through your application.

Has she been offered no school at all, or just not your first preference?

Moonsun - which LEA are you in? I seem to remember it was Derby or Burton or you were planning to move - you need to contact the one you applied to.

Yes it's Derby-- what can we do now
They have given us a place in local school which is an awful one

you need to contact Derby LEA, they are the ones responsible for the allocation - assuming

1) you put SCGS FIRST on the CAF
2) you got the form in on time

then they should sort it out

there are sometimes problems with passing scores between LEAs - keep us posted

Ask your LA to check that it had all the necessary information to transfer to the relevant LA for SCGS when passing on your request for a place.

yes lots of children do get places from outside LEA - it is just based on score, you could live in Truro and still be offered a place if you have the right score

Have you rung your LEA yet?

Birmingham are saying an offer was made so don't know what's going on
Derby are saying they will look into it
So fingers and everything crossed
