Re: Bishop Vesey welcome morning
Hi that's excellent info and I'm taking the info from our y7 tour guide with a pinch of salt.
I'm glad to hear it might not be as quick to detention as the lads thought. We'll have to see.
Those that aren't selected will study Spanish. Or at least that was my understanding of what was said!

There was a toddler crying in front of us so I didn't quite get that bit either!
Something about how some selected students will then study Mandarin for 8 hours a week?

Yes, those selected would do mandarin for 8 hours a week and it was at this point I thought goodness when will he fit that in and I kinda hope he's not great at mandarin.

Isn't this a bit early or is it trying to make you accept your offer?

No, not really early - lots of schools have events soon after the allocations are made. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with getting you to accept either - I think all the parents there had already accepted the offer, hence the invitation to the welcome event.Guest55 wrote:Isn't this a bit early or is it trying to make you accept your offer?
