New to this forum. But just for info my son was 23rd on the waiting list for Aston, and on 10/05/18 was offered a place. He has a score of 217.

26/03/18 - 46th for Bishop Vesey
13/05/18 - 19th for Bishop Vesey

We are very happy about the Aston place, although still have our fingers crossed for Bishop Vesey! Does anyone know how far BV went down their waiting list last year? Is 19th within realistic reach of a place??

We are 12th today for KE Handsworth for boys! We were 15th on the WL last Tuesday . Son scored 207 and we live 4.5 miles from school.

The list does appear to have moved by 3. We're now 9th as opposed to 12th last week (Son scored 207 and we live 3.5 from the school).

Hi LoopieLou, congratulations on the place at Aston. From posts on this forum, we know that BV went down to 215 (from 220) last year. The person who was 44th in March was offered a place on 17th July. So, it is possible, but you could be in for a long wait.

Welcome!!

Last year a score of 215 was 44th for BV and was offered a place in July. There is nothing else noted beyond this.

There is maybe an outside chance of a place still at BV. Places can be offered as late as September!

Congratulations LoopieLou! Pleased to hear of offers being made for Aston. We were 39th (with 216) initially, but only up to 11th on 10/5 so W/L hasn't moved quite as much for us. I will tell DS the list is still moving though!
