Hi, there is a good chance one or two may have been offered KES and are on the CHB waiting list.
Things seem to be moving in Bham, so keep fingers crossed.

Daughter was on waiting list number 3 yesterday for KEHG, with score 224 got a call today to say he has been accepted :D

28.3.18 235=38th

KE VI Camp Hill Girls -
27.3.18 231=39th
26.3.18 235=6th - OFFERED on 28.3.18

KE VI Five Ways -
27.3.18 : 231 = 22nd : 229=50th
28.3.18 : 229 = 40th (also) - there is a comment that the score of 229 covers places 40-60 (approx) on the waiting list.
28.3.18 : 231 - OFFERED (was 9th)

KE VI Aston
26.3.18 : 218 =14th

KE VI Handsworth Girls -
on 26 March, 222 was 23rd,
27.3.18 : 224=5th
27.3.18 : 217=88th
28.3.18 : 224 was 8th - OFFERED
27.3.18 : 224 was 11th - OFFERED on 28.3.18
28.2.18 : 221= 21st

Bishop Vesey
26.3.18 : 217=39th
27.3.18 : 222=2nd
27.3.18 : 219=28th

Handsworth Grammar (Boys)
26.3.18 207=19th, 205=60th
28.3.18 205 = 44th (there are 25 boys on 205 and 44th= 5/25)

Sutton Coldfield Girls -
26.3.18 - 217 = 13th also 24th 215 = 39th



Queen Mary's Grammar School (Boys, Walsall)

336 was 4th on list on 8th March, now 5th on 28.3.18
334 was 20th on 27th March
333 was 28th on list on 8th March,
328 was 61st on 14.3
326 is 70th on list on 8th March


Queen Mary's High School (Girls, Walsall)-

316 was 24th on 14.3.18
23.3.18 309=66th
27.3.18 318= 7th

27.3.18 318=2nd

could you please request all to release the waiting list by informing the school they do not require. People seem to forget to inform school of their 2nd choice after they received the offer. This will help all of us waiting.

Thank you for the support in the forum.
could you please release the waiting list by informing the school that you do not require. People seem to forget to inform school of their 2nd choice after they received the offer from waiting list. This will help all of us waiting.
Even Birmingham waiting list effect Walsall and vice versa.

Still 7th on waiting list for BV with 221
38th on waiting list for QMGS with 331
Accepted a place at KEA - still got a chance for BV?

Oooooh I see how this works now. Lol

So if someone accepts a place at BV then that frees up a place at KEA and then when someone accepts a place at KEA then that frees up a place at say HGS. Forgive me as I'm a bit slow and new to this whole 11plus thing. Lol

:D main thing to remember caveman47 is that each child can only go to one school so there is definitely a knock on effect - there are a fair few independent schools to fill and many of those kids will have GS places :wink:
