Register for the exams 2018

Just a reminder about registration for the exams for those with children now in Year 5.

Birmingham and Warwickshire schools (including all KEVI schools, Sutton grammars, KES Stratford, Stratford Girls and Alcester Grammar)

The closing date for applications is 4pm on 29 June 2017 (or 20 June for disability adjustment requests).

The examination will be held on Saturday 8 September.
Parents receive their child's test score by 12th October allowing an informed decision to be made on preference choices via their LA form, which are due by 31 October 2018 at the latest.

Walsall/Wolves/Wrekin Schools

The examination will be held on Monday 17 September.
Parents will receive their child's test score by mid October allowing an informed decision to be made on preference choices, which are due by 31 October 2018 at the latest.

KES and KEHS
Applications are also open for the independent schools, King Edward School and King Edward's High School.
The KEHS examination is on Friday 5th October.
The KES examination is on Saturday 6th October.

OSH

Old Swinford Hospital is a boys' state boarding school and day school only 30 minutes' drive from south Birmingham and offers another option for children - there are, like Adam's Grammar, still fees to pay but the education is state funded.
Their test is also a CEM test but taken on a computer, and their admissions open on 12th May but information can be seen in advance here https://www.oshsch.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; admission

Thank you um for the reminder. My ds1 is registered and it all feels very real now. :shock:
