Hi,
My friend lives in Acocks green, Birmingham and planning to apply for Rugby High school for girls. As they are not in priority areas, can they apply for this school? If so, will it be same cutoff as others live in priority area or different?
Can somebody help me with the eligibility criteria for Rugby High school for girls?
Thanks

Rugby High has priority areas, girls living in these areas are given preference in the first round of offers. Unless your friend's daughter has a very high score on the 11+ I doubt she would get an offer in March. She would be placed on the waiting list, however the RHS waiting list doesn't usually have much movement at all, it is not like the Birmingham waiting lists. Would she commute from Acocks Green? That's quite a distance.
