Hi All,
Just putting it out there to check if there is anyone from Harborne / edgbaston whose daughter will be going to start at handsworth Grammar for Girls from September? There will be a lot of things to sort but Transport for pick and drop is something I need to look into sooner rather then later. So I thought i’ll Check if anyone else has similar issues to sort ?. We are based in Harborne.

KR,
Medic

There's a green bus route, 847 I think, that goes through Harborne at around 7.30 & gets to school at 8ish. I know of some girls who use this & like it.

I'm hoping dd will be on this bus too (not sure yet!) but have looked at travel options. There is the 11c but it involves a bit of walking at the other end so I think she'd be happier, initially at least, with the green bus option.

I live in Harborne and have daughters at KE Handsworth. There is a green bus, it’s pretty expensive so do check that out. In our experience the 11 isn’t a great route to get from Harborne to the school. Most children on the public buses take a bus into the city centre and then swap to the 74 or 16 which go up the Soho Road. Lots of school kids travelling that route.

Thanks Green Girl, that's useful information (- or hopefully will be!)
