Hi there, wondering if anyone can share any offers they have had for HGS, including the score and distance? I have tried the foundation office and can't get through, I can imagine they must be super busy. It seems the scores for some of the other schools have dropped by at least two points, wondering if this is the case for HGS, will give us an idea of where we may be in relation to scores (217 for us). Any info will be great. Many thanks :)

My son is 53 on the waiting list  score of 216 and 3.6 miles away, not sure if he will make it but will be crossing fingers and keeping a close eye on the waiting lists. Good luck to everyone else.

It seems there are more children with scores below 230, as the movement for other schools has been quicker and cut offs have already gone down by about 2-4 pts for them.

It is at this stage that late applicants will be added too, so movements could change with the additional late applicants. A long wait for Handsworth Boys by the looks of it :(

Good luck to you. Hope we receive good news soon.

The closer the scores is to the middle, ie 200, the more children will be on each number.

Good luck to you all (and I say this as the parent of a boy in sixty something position 2 years ago!)

It's a long wait, especially given your scores, but will follow this thread closely and help if I can.
