Birmingham allocations 2020 - in catchment

Post by Nella »

Thank you for starting this thread and sorry to hijack it, but a thread for in catchment children detailing distance from the school would also be very useful; particularly for schools that have more in catchment children achieving the priority score than there are places.
Thank you

Hi - this is a thread for outcome IN CATCHMENT - please indicate distance from school

Thanks Hermanmunster for starting this thread.

Like Nella, I’d also find it useful to hear about in catchment scores & distance from schools too. If not all in catchment kids are successful, it will give others a clearer idea of where on the waiting list they are likely to be.

Good luck to everyone kids.

I agree this information will be very useful. In addition if people could indicate whether they have a sibling claim and their approx distance from the school that is relevant to the overall picture too.

I used https://www.freemaptools.com/distance-b ... tcodes.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to get a straight line distance from our house to various schools. Of course, the council algorithm may give slightly different results.

Good luck everyone.

What’s the likelihood of the Bham admissions email arriving after midnight in the night based on history?

Just checked the e-admissions site for Birmingham and it has been updated (No e-mail yet) - eadmissions.birmingham.gov.uk

We've got Sutton Girls with 219 (First Choice) no PP - 1 mile from the school

Congratulations to you and you DD. Thanks for the update. Seems that marks are going well so far for north Birmingham.
No news for Sandwell yet! All very quiet on here this year I would have thought there would've been a lot more updates by now.
