Re: Birmingham Consortium Waiting Lists 2020
Sorry for the delay-my son was offered a place at HGS last weekend. We received a letter from the school. I found out after emailing the foundation earlier in the week.He didn’t go into the waiting list, think he got a place as soon as initial offers were declined. His score was 212, we are about 4km from the school, out of catchment, with a sibling. Very happy as our older son loves the school.

Congratulations Margo! Is this the son that wasn't so happy with his other offer? I'm really glad it's worked out for you!Margo wrote:Sorry for the delay-my son was offered a place at HGS last weekend. We received a letter from the school. Third time mum- I’ve been watching this forum with interest to see if you’ve received an offer. My son was 22nd for BV but is now 16th. Hope you receive your offer letter soon.

I would expect it's in the post but I think we are only getting post a couple of times a week. If I don't get a letter tomorrow I might call. Such a strange year this is turning out to be... First the catchment changes, then the surprising low scores for North Birmingham and then a pandemic! Thank goodness its the last time for me.

Glad to see things have started moving a little in Birmingham too - Warwickshire's lists have also had some movement this week although this definitely looks to be the year of very little movement!!
Re: Birmingham Consortium Waiting Lists 2020
Keeping my fingers crossed for you all.
Congratulations Margo. We have one at HGS and we are fans of the school!
Thirdtimemum - these are strange days indeed!

Can we all share reg. waiting list movement please?
Has anyone heard anything? Heard CHB, CHG , FW, BV, Sutton Girls, HWB, HWG, Aston all had few movements last week.
