A day early, the results have arrived in the post!!!
We’ve had the letter from Newport Girls, even though my daughter sat the test at Queen Mary’s in Walsall.
Has anyone else got their letter from Queen Mary’s yet??
Newport lowest standardised entry score for 2020 intake was 313.
My daughter has got 332, so has a good chance of getting into Newport girls.
However she has set her heart on Queen Mary’s and the travel arrangements will be easier for Walsall.
Having said all that, we’re both over the moon with her result!!

No results here yet (QMGS) but one very anxious mama

I know, I’ve been refreshing this forum and checking my emails, WhatsApp and messenger every few minutes all afternoon!
I just wanna know the minimum score cut off for the 2020 intake.
I think I’ll get another letter from QMHS, as I ticked boxes for both Newport girls and qmhs. We’re going out for the day tomorrow, so I bet the post will be late

I’m sure I read on another post that 327 was offered at QMHS last year, not sure if it was pp, non pp, waiting list etc though.

I guess you mean 327?! (I keep typing the 200s instead of 300s, different scoring for Birmingham and Shropshire)
Someone has just told me they know someone who got a place with 322 last year at QMHS.

Yeah i realised after and edited the scoring differences between Birmingham and Walsall keep slipping me up!

I can tell you for QM girls. My DD got a score of 323 and she was on the waiting list.

Did u manage to get a place via the waiting list? If so how long did u wait before a place was allocated.

Nope. Last we checked she was second on the waiting list. The list hardly moved last year, but that's not to say it won't move this year. Anything can happen. Good luck to all your children.
