Congratulations to all the parents and well done to kids.

DS has been offered a place at Aston with 216 score (non PP). We live in South of Birmingham 6.35 miles away as the crow flies / straight line.

I know there isn't a catchment for SCGSG but thought you might like to know that cut-off was given by B'ham admissions this morning as 215.

What would you say the average points movement is on the waiting list?

I know in previous years it has gone down at least three points. It can mean waiting over the summer or even into Sept - apparently some children just don’t turn up on the first day of school! Best of luck to you if you find yourself in that position.

Thanks. It’s for my DD’s friend. We’re in but we’re hoping her friend will get in too. She scored 213 so just 2 points below the cut off!
