Who's Who at KEGS's
Just out off interest, the only well known person that I know who went to one of the KEGS is my GP, 1960's.
Do you know anyone famous or well known who went to one the five grammar schools?

I agree that the idea is to help one another, but this sometimes takes the form of just talking and helping each other to realise that we are not alone.
It is also possible, to pass by any posts that you do not consider relevant to you, rather than making rather rude comments to the user. I don't think there was any harm meant by the original post.
No offence meant, but this is a stressful time for many parents, and I for one, have found great value in just talking to other parents even if I cant find anything particularly useful to say. Probably like now
Sorry though CKTC, I dont know anyone famous from these schools, but I did attend KGGS in Grantham (Margaret Thatcher) perhaps I didnt need to meantion that!

Hi - honestly can't think of anyone - went to KEHS myself and apart from me can't think of anyone famous - or infamous - plenty of people in good jobs and leading interesting lives.
Went to a school reunion a few years back and found that all the women there were about a million times more sensible and intelligent than the people I was tolerating at work. So went back realised things could be better, resigned my job and retrained and never regretted it .
DavidC - chill - sometimes it is interesting to get the background to things.
If you really want to some stress try what I did .. the change of job meant moving to a brand new district where we knew no one and putting DS in for 11 plus (from a distance) before we moved - advantage is that we didn't have the gossip ++ for weeks so maybe not so stressful after all.
