we are not far from stechford station, but i would be very concerned sending her on 2 trains by herself! she doesn't even catch the bus by herself yet so very big move for her, (or maybe for me!!). I would feel more comfortable if there was a group of them going together to school.
Maybe Im just being overprotective at this stage in time. But thanks again KenR will do that route with her for practice a number of times

Hi Layla

I catch the train from Wylde Green to New Street to go to work. This train is every 10 mins only 15 mins journey as Ken has mentioned and Sutton Girls is not too far from the station. Alot of children use this train and I'm sure your D will make friends with other girls who will be on this train.

Other options for you is the no 11 bus to Erdington and then change buses to catch the one to Sutton.

I would take the trains - hope this helps.

Thank you sati, I do feel more reassured & will give train ago. Don't fancy the number 11 bus to be honest I remember it from my college days way back in early 90's,
