First day at school!

Post by Marylou »

DD2 had her first day at her new school today with her big sister. It's been a long time coming and, until recently, I never thought things would turn out this way. I would therefore just like to say a big thank you to everyone in this forum who helped it to happen - especially Patricia, Etienne, Sally-Anne, Guest55 and all of you who sympathized with our plight and offered advice and words of support.

My best wishes also to everyone who has DCs starting in their new schools this week and next. May they work hard, have fun and make lots of new friends!

It has been a complete pleasure to help you Marylou, and I am really happy that DD2 got the school she deserved all along.

My very best wishes to you and DD2.

Thanks, Marylou.

Best wishes to your DD2 and to all the children starting a new school.

It's been a pleasure to read in various threads about all the emotions associated with the "first day".
