Hi everyone

I am new to the eleven plus and I am getting a bit confused about the question types. My son has done all the Bucks familiarisation tests and has done reasonably well. I ordered this book ' IPS VR method and technique' as recommended on the forum and the IPS additional practice questions. Do the Bucks tests feature all the types of questions in the IPS books or just some, I don't want to waste time with some types of questions if not necessary ?

As I understand it, the Bucks test will feature all 21 types over the two tests. The types that don't appear in the first will appear in the 2nd.

I did look at this but got confused with HIKNOS and that the GL assessment do not include these. I was not sure if this also meant the familiarisation pack did not include this.

You can tell that I would not have passed the 11 +

I think I have got this now.

The papers issued by GL assessment that can be bought in the shops do not contain HIKNOS.

The practice papers issued by Bucks CC and the real test, both produced by GL Assessment, do contain HIKNOS
