past scores/raw scores
I know it doesn't help to try and second guess what the results will be but it's become my secret obsession!
Can any of the experts tell me just how consistent the average raw score pass mark has been over the past few years? If my May born was getting 73 & 75 on familiarisation and felt she did exactly the same on the actual tests, what are the chances that after standardisation she would get more or less than 121?
I know there's only a couple of days (and 7 hours and 15 minutes...) till I know, but please can someone humour me?

Re: past scores/raw scores
There has unsurprisingly been a great deal of discussion about this over the years, and some conversations earlier this year came close to nailing the actual raw score required to qualify. I won't refer you to the various threads because you will probably be left feeling confused, but a search for terms such as "raw score", "standardised score" and "FOI" will pick up most of them.
Through FOI requests we established that the qualifying mark for a September-born child last year was 71/80. That appears to have been slightly higher than in previous years, when 69/80 or 70/80 might have sufficed.

How about a nice gin and tonic?
Thinking of you all, I was doing this this time last year and will be doing it again next year.

On a serious note I just got a call from the school asking whether it was ok to hand the envelope to DD at the end of Friday.
Looks like the school have got the results.........
Re: past scores/raw scores
Ohhhhh !!!! The school knows the results now. It is good that I cancelled the appointment I had with the head today. I can’t face anyone let alone the head.
It is so scary.....

What was the alternative on offer? Is this a Bucks state school or a private or OoC school?luckydip wrote:On a serious note I just got a call from the school asking whether it was ok to hand the envelope to DD at the end of Friday.
