Received our allocation today for Bucks which was fine, together with allocation profile for Bucks secondary schools for this year (i.e the page that says the school and which children (catchment plus siblings to ...miles etc) were admitted.

Good friend (lives in Bucks) wanted, but failed to get, Lord Williams (Oxfordshire). If you live in Bucks you only get the allocation profile for Bucks schools sent with your allocation it seems. So does anyone out there who lives in Oxfordshire have the allocation profile for Lord Williams, Thame for this year. If so- what does it say?

Hilda

I'll try to find out about Lord Williams. How close to the school is your friend?

A couple of other thoughts - has your friend tried ringing Lord Williams.
a) to find out distance offered this year and
b) to put her child on the waiting list.
Many got in from the waiting list last year, although it does vary.

Hi Hilda,

Congratulations on getting the school of your choice.

As you have the allocation information, please could you let me know the details for Royal Latin in Buckingham? The 2007 figures have not been published on the BCC website yet.

Many thanks and best regards

(I expect you'll get quite a few similar requests :) )

JHG?

Dear Hilda

Is it possible to scan in the profiles of all the grammars and post them on here?

Dear Sally-Anne

Obviously losing it, I searched but could only find profiles for 2006.

Well Done!
